It will feed into the South West Groundwater Allocation Plan that is currently being developed by the Department as well as give context to Water Corporation’s licence assessment to draw 45GL of water per year from the South West Yarragadee Aquifer.

The study was conducted during the summer low-flow period with the aim of identifying potential impacts of reductions in groundwater baseflow on the in-stream fauna during this period.
