Water Quality Protection Guidelines

Guidelines aim to address the key issues relating to industrial, commercial and urban activities which interact with the Department's water resources conservation and management role, and provide advice on best management practices.

Policies and guidelines are developed through a consultative process involving all key stakeholders. These include other government agencies, industry representatives and conservation organisations.

We welcome the views of readers of these documents and will incorporate constructive comments in periodic upgrades of the guidelines.
