Rural Water Advisory Committee

The Rural Water Advisory Committee advises the Minister for Water Resources and the Department of Water on the provision of farmland water supplies in dryland areas.

The Committee provides a valuable direct contact with rural communities.

It consists of farming representatives from each farmland zone, a pastoral regions representative, a representative of the Farm Water Planners/Assessors Group and representatives from relevant Government agencies.

Mr Barry James - South Eastern Wheatbelt and Salmon Gums
Mr Ben Mouritz - South Coast Sandplains
Mr Noel Dodd - Farm Water Planners/Assessors Group
Mr Edgar Richardson - Pastoral Areas
